MattKim_Jonathan.Mannion_037Matt and Kim, the indie/pop/rock duo (and couple) are jamming out on Flavet Field for Swampfest tonight.

They released their fourth full length album, Lightning, last October and have been on the move ever since. From Bonnaroo to Firefly to the upcoming Lollapalooza, they have graced the summer festival circuit with their upbeat rhythms and creative approach to music.

Matt and Kim are quirky, energetic and like to get naked, so naturally, GainesvilleScene had a few ridiculous questions for them.

Matt Johnson, vocalist and keyboardist, provides some insight on everything from sandwich spreads to choosing a life path.

If you could have a drunken late-night conversation with one person, dead or alive, who would it be?

Larry David

Smooth or crunchy peanut butter?

CRUNCHY ALL DAY EVERYDAY

If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

Watching the full series of “Lost” over and over

What was the first album you ever bought?

Cypress Hill Black Sunday

Most college kids have no idea what the fu** to do with their lives. Any advice?

If you find something you love, do it 24 hours a day (example: Watching “Lost”).

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? Who was it from?

Bet it all in Final Jeopardy – My Mom

Favorite brand of bottled water?

Smart Water ya’ll
