Many are planning to gather together today to stress over the last 72 minutes of “Breaking Bad“, so why not combat the tension with some great dishes inspired by the show?

New fans and old can rejoice in these creative concoctions, and these tasty bits will make for the perfect commercial-break distraction. Don’t worry, they are 100% meth free (but might be as addicting).

-1/2 oz. Vodka (Skinny)
-1/2 oz. Blue Curacao
-Splash of Orange Bitters
-Blue pop rock candy

Pour vodka, blue curacao, and orange bitters into shaker with ice. Shake and strain into chilled martini glass. Wet rim of glass (optional: use vanilla extract for extra kick) and sprinkle blue pop rock candy onto rim.

Los Pollos Fritos En Un Plato

- 3 eggs
- ½ cup water
-1/3 cup Trader Joes sriracha sauce
-1 ¾- 2 cups self-rising flour
-1/2 cup Panko crumbs
-1 teaspoon garlic powder
-1 (1 to 2 ½ pound) chicken, cut into pieces
-Peanut Oil (no more than ½ full in pot)

In a medium size bowl, beat eggs with the water. Add sriracha sauce. In separate bowl, combine the flour, crumbs, and garlic powder. Dip the raw chicken into the egg, then liberally coat in the flour mixture. Heat oil to 350 degrees F in a deep pot. Fry the chicken in the oil until crisp and golden brown.

Suggestion: Serve with side of potato wedges. Follow up with an apology for butchering your Spanish pronunciations.

-1 ½ pounds ground beef
-4 hamburger buns
-Salt and pepper
-12-14 (handful) blue tortilla chips, crushed
-Thick-cut bacon (2-3 strips)
-Queso dip
-Tomato, Lettuce, Mayonnaise (optional)
-Toothpicks

Heat a large sauté pan or griddle over high heat. Add oil and let it heat until it begins to simmer. Shape ground beef with hands into 2 round patties about 1 ½ inches thick. Incorporate the crushed tortilla chips into beef. Season each burger with salt and pepper, to taste. Cook the burgers until brown on both sides. If cooked on medium, it should take about 8 minutes. On separate pan, heat bacon to preferred tenderness. Cut and add strips to finished burger. Add tomato, lettuce, mayo, and heated queso to burger, and cut said burgers into quarters (or more, depending on amount attending party.) This dish can be paired with a simple coleslaw and/or some…
