Battle of the Bands Interview: King Complex vs. The Hails

We decided to try something new and it was entertaining to say the least.

To combat the redundancy of the typical interview questions that bands are asked, we let the bands ask each other the questions.

We sat down with Bracher Brown and Cody Doss of indie-electronic duo King Complex and Robbie Kingsley and Andre Escobar from alt-rock group The Hails to get to know the faces behind the names (and masks).

The groups spent weeks digging into each other’s lives and preparing some fresh questions— some serious and others outright ridiculous. The truth (and maybe too much of it) was revealed as we scored a deeper insight into the personalities of these Gainesville music scene favorites.
