We are a group of friends and web designers that decided to do something for the city were we grew up and love so dearly;Gainesville Florida.
We created this simple site so that Gainesville residents can trade among them and discuss issues concerning the city. We also wanted to give an opportunity to local businesses to get an online exposure through advertising.

Anyone living in Gainesville and its surroundings can use this website. You can use any services this site has to offer for free. A free registration is required for everyone.

We welcome feedbacks and suggestions. We want this site to be as easy to use for everyone as possible. Use the contact form to send us your comments.

We hate SPAMMERS.Spam will not be tolerated.Anyone suspected of spamming our site will be banned and his/her IP address recorded and sent to the authorities.

This is a non commercial site, the money we collect is used to pay for hosting, and make improvement to the site. We will be listening to your demands and make changes accordingly.

Born in Los Angeles on May 19th 1976, Kvic parents moved to Gainesville,Florida when he was only 2 days old.
He graduated from UF in 2002 with a Bachelor degree in computer science. Kvic is in charge on the design of this site as well as most of its content.

Born in Gainesville,Fl on June 14th 1971, Ruth is the only child to her parents.
She graduated from UF in 2000 with a Master degree in Social Science. Ruth is the brain. She is the one who came up with the idea for gainesvillescene.com .
