The ‘Summer A’ tumbleweeds have begun to clear and the population of Gainesville is on the rise once again.
More people means more mouths hungry for local cuisine and craft cocktails.
The Jones, located at 203 SW 2nd Ave., is gearing up for the increased local appetite with a slew of new jobs.
As a longtime neighborhood restaurant in the heart of downtown Gainesville, they’ve been known for their “too cool for school” vibe, but as they launch into a new phase of hiring, they’re looking for staff with a high level of professionalism, integrity and care for the Gainesville community.
They are refining their company culture to one of positivity, self-sufficiencity and learning. Since The Jones serves a variety of vegan, vegetarian and onmivore cuisine, an appreciation of (or willingness to learn about) a more health-conscious lifestyle is highly encouraged. Both front-of-house and back-of-house positions are available for both part-time and full-time.

Experience is not required, but is appreciated.
