UF Frat Boy Asks Jennifer Lawrence to Formal

“Are you? Are you?” is the one question Patrick Mims, a brother of UF’s Beta Theta Pi fraternity, wants to ask Jennifer Lawrence.
Mims made a YouTube video asking Lawrence, a 25-year-old actress who is well-known for her role in “The Hunger Games,” to his fraternity’s formal on April 1.
Although many of the comments on the YouTube video include “kinda creepy tho” and “what the fuck,” Mims should be applauded for his creativity.
The minute-long video is a remake of Lawrence’s song “The Hanging Tree.”
Mims said he has loved her movies and decided to incorporate references from her roles in “The Hunger Games,” “Silver Linings Playbook” and “X-Men.”
“She’s gorgeous and talented and from what I’ve seen from interviews, quirky and hilarious,” Mims said. “I think she would be a fun date and thought, why not?!”
Why should Lawrence pick him you ask? Because he’s probably the only one asking.
“Now, I haven’t been looking, but this is the first video that I’ve seen where a guy puts himself out there in a ridiculous way, remixes her song and dresses up like characters in her movies,” he said. “I would say that’s pretty unique.”
We think so too, Patrick.
If anyone just so happens to know Jennifer Lawrence, hit her up.
