Always Be in Contact: The Gainesville App Changing the Sales World

Ben and Anthony King have been known around Gainesville as the tech guys with the bright green pants. Every startup workshop, involvement fair or open house, you can count on them to be there donning those colorful matching slacks.

Their reputation, however, is about a lot more than fashion choices these days. The King brothers, who are co-founders of Keep It Simple Technologies (KIST), have recently launched a customer relationship management (CRM) software on a quick mobile app called “Always Be In Contact.”

Customer follow-up (which, let’s be honest, can be a real pain in the ass) is the primary challenge for sales people across many industries. Always Be In Contact makes it easy to seamlessly add new contacts, which automatically generates a reminder to follow-up in a few days.

The app, available on all iOS devices, streamlines the process of adding contacts, receiving reminders, generating sales quotes and providing an estimate on monthly payments for sizeable purchases (like that new Maserati you’ve been trying to get off the lot). It also allows users to manage and organize all quotes and estimates, link them to contacts and receive automatic reminders to follow-up to close the deal.

“One of our first users, a young automotive salesman, informed us that days after he started using the app, he made a new car sale because the app sent him a follow-up reminder,” said Ben King. “This is exactly why we created Always Be In Contact.”

All contacts are saved to your mobile address book and synced with a cloud-based server so info is never lost or overlooked. Ie: You never lose the dingy scrap of paper that you wrote down a potential client’s number on.

Inspired by industry greats like Steve Jobs, the King brothers have always been eager to experiment with new technologies and simplify people’s lives.

“We grew up playing video games and listening to music on Sony Walkmans and iPods, so naturally we took to computers and the Internet before it was mainstream,” said Ben King.

Now is the time to use their app before it becomes mainstream as well. (Yes, it’s possible to be a CRM hipster.)

They haven’t made an app to remind you to download this app, so download today and support Gainesville’s favorite green machines.
