Your Go-to Gainesville Bars for Germany vs USA

If you’ve been living under a rock without wifi (which is almost unheard of–rocks have gotten a lot classier as of late), I have something very important to tell you: The World Cup is going on.

Today is the day that Americans actually want to watch futbol. Today is the day that the United States Men’s National Team will face off against Germany.

A win will advance one team and send the other to the losers bracket. A tie will advance both teams. With a German head coach and five German-American players on the US team, there have been conspiracy theories floating that the German team and the USMNT will conveniently tie.

Futbol politics aside, today is a really big day for the US team, who were never slated to make it past Ghana in the first round.

So here we are. It’s time to venture into the heart of Gainesville and support your team. Jurgen Klinsmann has even written you a note to get out of work.
